Romanko S. Economic and legal mechanism of agricultural produce ecological safety guarantee

The dissertation deals with the investigation into theoretical, lawmaking and methodical aspects of economic and legal mechanism of agricultural produce ecological safety guarantee forming and functioning. In the dissertation presented for the defence we were engaged in studying structure, matters and main phases of economic and legal mechanism of agricultural produce ecological safety guarantee regulatory fixing as an individual interbranch law and legislation institution simultaneously with determination and characterization of the above mentioned mechanism nodal concept, i.e. agricultural produce ecological safety. The comprehensive nature of economic and legal mechanism of agricultural produce ecological safety guarantee was proved based on the connection between the latter and the rational management of nature requirements in the agricultural soils. The research determines that the mechanism of agricultural produce ecological safety guarantee includes organizing and legal, institutional, functional and economic subsystems. The particular consideration is given to the organizing and legal, economic and legal and international law matters research of economic and legal mechanism of agricultural produce ecological safety guarantee. The necessity to improve current legislation of Ukraine in the domain was grounded, the suggestions were made to move amendments to the existing regulatory law acts and to pass the law of Ukraine “On economic and legal mechanism of agricultural produce ecological safety guarantee”, Food Code of Ukraine and Long-term programme of introducing technology for conducting ecologically safe (organic) farming.
