Essay

High-chromium cast-iron. To develop composition and regimes of high-chromium cast-iron heat strengthening for increase of mechanical and service properties complex of products. The research methods are methods of mechanical tests and impact-abrasive wear; light and electronic microscopy; carbidic, X-ray structure and local X-ray microspectroscopy analysis; dylatometric and calorimetric research. Use of optimizated composition and heat treatment regimes of high-chromium cast-iron under industrial manufacture provides increase of service life and wear resistance of composite rolls, and also other products which work under increased temperatures and impact-abrasive wear.
