The dissertation is dedicated to the source study analysis of Ivan Bagryanyi's foundation materials based on the research of the social and political activity of Ukrainian emigration of the second half of the 1940s through the middle of the 1960s. For the first time Ivan Bagryanyi's foundation documents have been classified and comprehensive analysis of these ones, namely, transactions, resolutions, decrees, statutes, reports, official correspondence, sketches, published issues and others, has been carried out.
