Research object. Strategic measures of development of potential of forest complex. Research purpose. Forming of tool of strategy of development of potential of forest complex of Ukraine on the base of improvement of directions of the use and reproduction of forest resources. Research methods. System logical method, comparative analysis, economyсo-statistical groupments, reason of consequence connections. The scientific value of job performances consists in deepening of existent approaches in development of strategy of adjusting of development of potential of forest complex. The practical value of the results of dissertation research got an author consists in the ground of positions in form conception of development of potential of forest complex. A novelty consists in development of organizationally-process chart of economic potential of development of forest complex, the constituents of which is resource potential, potential of forestgrowings, forestprocessing, the forestuses and a tree of the use; to development of conception of providing of potential of development of forest complex, which provides the increase of efficiency of forestuses, use of forest resources and useful properties of the forest, and also increase of role of forest sector in the economy of the state. Drawn on the results of dissertation in work of the Rovenskogo regional management of the Statutory broker of forestry of Ukraine. Separate positions of the dissertation entered into educational process of the Kharkov national university of a name of V.N.Karazina.
