Essay

The thesis is devoted to the improvements of a blast furnace process control on the basis of the gas dynamics analysis of blast furnace upper and lower zones, by means of stochastic mathematical modeling of charge and gas distributions in a blast furnace, and the algorithm development of an optimized blast furnace process. On the bases of scientifc generalizations, theoretical developments and experiments in industrial units, the tollaving aims are attained: the method of primary data study for careful analysis for a blast furnace control found out; mathematical models to optimize charging and gas dynamics of a blast furnace upper zone, experimental methods to optimize blast furnace practice as well as methods of blast furnace controlling by changing lower pressure drop with blasting regulations in theoretical burning temperature developed. Most of the fndings achieved are implemented in the blast furnace shop of "Metallurgical Plant "Zaporizhstal".
