Essay

The aim is to study phraseological units with onomastic component in Modern German. Methods used are descriptive, component analysis, lexicographical analysis. Degrees of phraseological activity of different onyms' classes as the components of phraseological units is defined for the first time. Complex analysis of german phraseological units with onomastic component carried out in the recearch is a definite contribution in further studying of structural, semantic and functional, aspects of phraseology. The results can be used in teaching Modern German lexicology and special courses. The sphere of usage - higher school.
