Essay

The object of research - the mechanical system composed of a parabolic tank partially filled with liquid in transitional processes in the coupled moving system; the subject of research - developing effective nonlinear discrete model of dynamics of coupled moving parabolic reservoir and liquid with a free surface; purpose of research - to construct effective nonlinear discrete model of system of a parabolic reservoir-liquid, taking into account solvability conditions, which is equivalent to hold non-flowing conditions on certain prolongation of a lateral container surface, until which wave crests can reach; method of research is based on analytical methods of nonlinear mechanics and variational methods of mathematical physics with applying variational formulation of the problem.
