Essay

The thesis is the first scholar research that focuses on theoretical processing of country's integrated imago and determines its specificity as the constituent of the national political culture and its role as the society's civilization development pivot. The correlation between the specificities of the particular country's political culture and self-identification of its citizens and the means of its promotion in the world is presented on the basis of comparative analyses of political cultures of the USA, Russia, Poland and Ukraine. The thesis studies formation of the country's integrated imago in historic retrospective, as well as presents the concept of the country's integrated imago and determines epistemological differences between the categories pertinent to dissertation's theme and determines interrelation between them. The generalized experiences of Poland in building up of the national brand as well as the research of its information support program's implementation are presented. The thesisexamines constituents of the [historical] imago of Ukraine and designates the guidelines for formation of its integrated imago as the basis for overcoming the internal split of nation. The recommendations concerning formation of the institutional and organizational foundations of the Ukraine's integrated imago inside the country and abroad are presented.
