Object of research: critical articles of different genres: I.Franko. B. Lepkyy, Lesya Ukrayinka, Olena Pchilka, Ye.Malanyuk, M.Dray-Khmara, M.Rylskiy, P.Tychyna, M.Bazhan, Ye.Sverstyuk, D.Pavlychko, O. Zabuzhko, Yu.Andrukhovych. Purpose: to investigate the deter-mining lines of interpretative strategies of known Ukrainian writers-critics of the XXth c. which are pre-defined by the features of reception of works of the Polish literature of different stylistic epochs. Practical value: the usage of results for the special courses on Comparative Literature, History of Ukrainian-Polish lit-erary contacts, courses of the History of Ukrainian Lit-erature and Literary Criticism, in reinterpretation of classic works of Ukrainian and Polish literatures. Meth-ods: comparative-historical, typological, genetic, ima-gological, biographic, interpretative.
