Essay

In this work the creative activity of a modern Ukrainian composer and bayanist Volodimir Zubitsky is being researched. His creative work is being studied in the context of the development of bayan repertoire. In this work the theoretic generalization of the problem of the repertoire is being given. The function of the repertoire in the system of musical communicative is being revealed. Using the material of the bayan works by Volodimir Zubitsky «Six Meditations on Ch.Baudelaire» for flute and accordion; «Flumen» for accordion and piano; «Fragments from concerto „Ommagio ad Astor Piazzolla”», Children suites No 1 and No 3 («Ukrainian») for accordion solo; works for the beginners («Suite in Three Parts», «Three Folk Pieces», «Ukrainian Dances») the innovations of the compositive writing are being shown. It is proved that the creative activity by Volodimir Zubitsky is an important stage in the renovation of the bayan repertoire and opens ways for the development of the bayan art.
