Processes of providing of efficient control by activity of the enterprises. Scientifically-methodical and practical substantiation, working out of organizational bases and use of effective model of inventory holdings and an estimation of its introduction at the enterprises of manufacturing industry in Cherkassy region. Methods: the system approach, the system-structural analysis, mathematical methods, statistical methods and a graphic representation of the data. The complex theoretical-applied decision of problem questions of formation and use of modern model of inventory holdings by the process industry enterprises is proved. The substance of reserves of inventory holdings is indicated. In work the system of the purposes is offered, to inventory holdings function, existing models which consider classical and modern approaches to business dealing are grouped and classified. The choice of activities in the effective use of the inventory holdings of enterprises is looked upon. Results of the analysis of productivity of storekeeping at level of national economy, the industry, the investigated enterprises are offered. The methodology to determine the economy of the reserve investment and the methodology of the complex influence of the investment economy in reserve and the breakthrough for fuel and energy resources within the expected competitiveness of enterprises are proposed. The last methodology allows choosing different variants of inventory holdings, to use inner funds of an enterprise and to compensate the consequences of breakthrough for fuel and energy resources, to promote an investment attractiveness and competitiveness of enterprises.
