Essay

55 species of heterotrophic flagellates are found in the region of investigation, 34 of them are registered for the first time in Ukrainian Poles'e area and 32 are new for the fauna of Ukraine. The morphological peculiarities of the species found are specified, original taxa redescriptions and differential species diagnoses are given. Investigating seasonal dynamics, two peaks of quantity and species richness. For the first time ecological spectra of this group species are received. Data on the heterotrophic flagellate species distribution in water reservoirs of different types are received, the origin of these protists species complexes in water reservoirs of rivers basins from river fauna complex is established.
