Pavlov R. Early diagnostics of bankruptcy of banks

The thesis includes researches of theoretical and methodological aspects of bankruptcy functioning and its peculiarities in Ukraine's banking system. Here was made an analysis of main methods and models for early-term diagnostics of banks' problematic issues. Also the thesis includes the grounds for expediency of early-term diagnostics for potential banks' bankruptcy on the basis of artificial neural network (ANN) method use, founded on uncontrolled study procedure and specifically on self-organizing maps (SOM). Here was proposed a nationally adapted methodological approach of early-term possible banks' bankruptcy diagnostics by means of self-organizing Kohonen maps at the system of bank supervision by organizational and economical bank's system antirecessionary regulation gear.
