Rusakova Y. Unauthentic documents of Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery in the 16th-17th centuries: textual criticism and land aspect of functioning

The object of the thesis is a complex research of general tendencies and features of functioning the unauthentic Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery documents in the land context during the 16th and 18th centuries. On the basis of critical text analysis the structural and informational characteristics of documents were carried out and the intercommunications between uncovered lists were reconstructed. According to the results of critical source analysis the author researched the motives of falsification of original graphic texts, the reasons of their editing, the methods of the falsifiers work and the later editors. Also we investigated the peculiarities of ownership rights of the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery to the land units in Kyiv and Zhitomir districts of Kyiv voivodstvo, that were indicated in unauthentic documents, as well as the functioning of these texts was shown in judicial practice. The supplements of the thesis represent the results of critical textual and linguistic research of unauthentic lists and reproduce the schemes of their genealogical dependence.
