Essay

The work is devoted to improvement of treatment of patients with metabolic syndrome. For patients with metabolic syndrome left ventricular remodulation is characteristic, according to the type of concentric hypertrophy predominantly, features of its latent systolic dуsfunction, diastolic dуsfunction in both ventricles is mainly according to hypertrophic type. Тhе endothelial dysfunction of brachial artery is demonstrated in 70,2% of patients. Lacidipine in patients with metabolic syndrome improved parameters of systolic left-ventricular function, decreased manifestations of diastolic malfunction in both ventricles of the heart and brachial artery endothelial disfunction. Moxonidine in this patients' category had positive effect on the parameters of diastolic filling in both ventricles and endothelial arteries functional state.
