Analysis of the problem of ecologic security provision on the territories suffered from radioactive pollution, rights and liberties protection for the citizens living there, has an important theoretical meaning, as it contributes to establishment of effective actions on withdrawal of territories from the state of ecologic disaster and development of the action on social protection of the aggrieved citizens. Such research work has a great practical meaning; its results may be used to improve the implementation of ecologic and nuclear laws. This thesis deals is: analysis of applicable laws in the of ecologic security provision considering the radioactive pollution both before the explosion on Chornobyl Nuclear Power Station and after it, presentation of relevant offers considering the brining of the national legislation in accordance with the realities that appeared as the result of pollution of the territories in Ukraine; research and analysis of theoretical and legal grounds of ecologic security, radiation and ecologic security, radiation security, their correlation; research and analysis of jurisdiction powers of state management bodies of general and special competence in the branch of ecologic security provision on the territories suffered from radioactive pollution; research of legal grounds for the protection of rights and interests of the aggrived citizens from the results the radioactive pollution of the territories, detecting of defects in functioning of Social Protection Institute for the aggrieved citizens, recommendation of the ways to eliminate the detected gaps and defects.
