Essay

Complexation processes of linear poly(ether-urethane)s (LPU) synthesized in the presence of mononuclear and triheteronuclear metalorganic complexes were studied by electron paramagnetic resonance and electron microscopy technigues. It was shown that microheterogeneous structure and properties of LPU depend on both symmetry of the metal complexes and number of ion centres. The presence of 1 % wt. of Me (III) в-diketonates in LPU was found to protote the formation of metal-complex enriched crystal microregions. It was established that elongation at break for modified LPU is 1,5 - 4 fold greater than for unmodified one. Whereas conductivity for these LPU is 1 - 2 order (for homonuclear metal complex containing LPU) or 3 order of magnitude (for heteronuclear metal complex containing LPU) greater than for unmodified LPU. Using DRS technigue it was found the LPUs were characterized by an ionic conductivity.
