Essay

With the use of our experimental equipment, analytical and numerical metods, we established typical pattens in the distribution of pulse pressure within the closed hydraulic chamber of a drop- weiight tower and studies the deformation behavior of eliptical and circular plates subjected to pulse pressure in liquid. On the basis of the results obtained, new methods for theoretical and experimental investigation of nonlinear dynamic deformation and fracture of plates and shells.
