Essay

The new constructions of interference filters are designed for the infrared of spectrum. The concept of pointer function which can be used for prognostication the region of high transmission (reflection) in bandpass multilayered periodic interference filters is entered. Connection is set between the structural parameters of multilayered structures and their spectral characteristics. Influence of losses is researched in the layers of thin-film structures on their optical characteristics.
