The dissertation is devoted to the complex of theoretical research of legal collisions and a collision in the legislation. Classification of collisions is realized; their origins and negative consequences of existence are established. System of preventative measures against appearance of collisions and methods of their solution (elimination and overcoming), to which, in particular, the reduction of tax system of Ukraine refers, is detected.
