Adamchuk O. Distribution, development and methods of exposure of western corn rootworm (Diabrotica virgifera virgifera Le Conte) in Ukraine

In the course of primary penetration and distribution western corn rootworm into Ukraine northeast, northern and northwest character of distribution adult along transport arteries that role of a wind in direction invasions a phytophage is established. A saturation corn and other trophic cultures of crop rotations influenced speed of distribution and settling of Transcarpations territory. Concentration of number western corn rootworm near transport highways on valleys is noted. Possibility of adaptation of a kind in the Transcarpations region is proved, directions of potential distribution are established and thresholds of harm of larvae Diabrotica virgifera are calculated. For the first time the model of a full cycle of phenological development western corn rootworm in the conditions of Transcarpations on which basis it is possible to plan actions for revealing and localisation of the centres of the wrecker is reproduced. Effective methods of revealing imago western corn rootworm with use of traps ofpanel type in a combination with synthetic pheromone and atraktant "aroma of a flower" are certain.
