Essay

This research work states analyzed long-term dynamics (1986-2005) of 90Sr and 137Cs content in Muriformes and Soriciformes. Original method of live counting was used to determine peculiarities of 137Cs і 90Sr excretion from the organism of bank vole (Myodes glareolus). Detail analysis of 90Sr and 137Cs distribution in organs and tissues was also carried out for this species. The magnitude of absorbed doses in rodents and shrews of the region was calculated in long-term period after the accident (2005 year). Changes of contribution of external and internal irradiation to dose burden of animals were characterized for the 1986 - 2005 period.
