Kravchuk I. Petro Lodiy as the Ukrainian Academic Philosophy Representative.

The topicality of the research lies in the necessity to understand the development of philosophic thought in Ukraine completely and, more over to anticipate its future possibilities. That's why we must be clearly aware of the preceding works of our compatriots, their essentials and influence on the further progress of the philosophic investigations. The objective of our research is a deep analysis of P.Lodiy's scientific views in order to systemize them and to determine the importance of the creative activity of the philosopher and actuality of its results. Thus, this research tries to define the practical use of Lodiy's inheritance. To gain the objective we should accomplish the following tasks: to look over the essentials of P.Lodiy's lifetime; to make entire analysis of the thinker's historic-philosophical conception, its methodological foundation; to investigate logic-gnoseological views of P.Lodiy; to fix the place and value of Lodiy's philosophical accomplishment in the both historical and contemporary contexts, particularly, in Ukrainian Academic philosophy.
