Essay

The thesis is devoted to the definition of content and basic characteristics, ideological origins of Ukrainian national-communism and its evolution. As it came out from analysis, Ukrainian national-communism was the successor of brand of socialism, expressed by Mykhailo Dragomanov, the sequent of traditional sovereign Marxism of earliest Ukrainian political organizations and the result of influence Russian bolshevism. It was confirmed, that main ideological values of Ukrainian national-communism representatives of 20-30s years were common, although different trends of this variant of communism had no general tactics and organization. Ukrainian national-communists proved the possibility of Ukrainian way to communism. They attempted to obtain sovereignty of Ukrainian State, territorial integrity, to establish the Ukraine as the national independent nationally-economic organism, to resuscitate Ukrainian national culture. The research issued, that 30s years of XX century should not be considered as final period of Ukrainian national-communism being. The basic distinctions between theoretical constructions of this political trend of 20-30s, 60-70s and 90s years of XX century were defined.
