Essay

The object – is bent and compressed reinforce-concrete elements of different normal cross sections; the purpose – is improvement of the strength design for normal cross sections in reinforced-concrete elements based on deformation model with extremal criterion; the methods – are experimental, building mechanics, optimization and numerical, mathematical statistics; the novelty – the strength design for normal cross sections in reinforced-concrete elements based on deformation model with extremal criterion has been perfected, numerical and optimization methods being used at this; as a result – the influence of class of concrete and reinforcement, of reinforcement percentage, form of normal cross section on stress-strain state and the strength of compressed-bent reinforce-concrete elements in the maximum state have been determined; the results have been inculcated in the planning of reinforce-concrete columns of frameworks of civil and industrial buildings; the branch of application is construction.
