Object - working process of scraps hoofs of horns. Purpose ? increase of productivity scraps hoofs and maintenance of their natural geometrical form, and also the chosen roughness of the processed surface by a substantiation of design data-technological and operating modes of the device.Methods ? theoretical researches are lead with use of organic laws of classical mechanics, differential calculus. The analysis of mathematical models is carried out by means of corresponding programs to the computer. Experimental researches were spent with use of statistical methods, in particular, multifactorial experiment and the corresponding computer programs. Novelty - 1) borders of change of geometrical parameters копытец from their natural form on the basis of what rational periodicity scraps копытец in conditions of the fastened maintenance of large horned livestock is established are proved; 2) has received the further development use of the theory of cutting of wood for definition of key parameters and conditions of maintenance of process scraps hoofs of horns in view of it physical-mechanical properties which is expressed in definition coefficients and parameters of degrees of parameters of force of cutting; 3) dependence between coefficient a sliding friction hoofs of horns on different materials and moisture content in it for the first time is experimentally established, and also between hardness of a horn and its density that has enabled to define physico-mechanical properties of a horn without a cutting of samples from hoofs; 4) rational design data-technological of the device and its} operating modes which provide improvement of quality and productivity scraps hoofs of livestock with different physico-mechanical properties are proved. Results of researches. Techniques of the control of geometrical parameters of hoofs and definitions of physico-mechanical properties of hoofs horns without destruction of a horn boot are offered. Designs of devices for their realization. Techniques of definition of key parameters of rational modes of cutting hoofs horns by way depending on mechanical properties of a processable material are offered. The design of the portable tool is advanced and the design of the stationary device for scraps копытец, providing change of modes of cutting hoofs horns depending on its physico-mechanical properties and forms of hoofs is offered.
