Essay

In the thesis on the material of traditional Ukrainian child folklore its cognitive possibilities of the worldview formation are explored. The system of forming of critical (analytical) thought principles in the child is basis of cognitive potential of Ukrainian child folklore. We take into account that the ability to foresee is included in the child's folk subculture. The specific of traditional Ukrainian child's folklore is analyzed. Implosive possibility of the worldview formation in it is based on the system of co-ordinates of the universe which at first is offered to the child by adults, and is afterwards comprehended and interpretated by a child in folklore and playing culture. In the composition of structural systems of world and anti-world, attracting the mechanisms of carnival, a child creates a microcosm which is the foundation of his or her worldview. Considerable attention is paid to the ethics factors of the worldview formation of a child, in particular to the system of folk moral (on thematerial of lullabies and teasing). Behind the "from reverse" principle in folk texts the image of an ideal person is hidden. The ability to foresee in the child folklore is expressly shown in a few genres (for example, humorous saying to insects and birds) and gets new semantic colouring.
