Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of characteristics of mineral homeostasis of school-age children from different biogeochemical districts of the Transcarpathian region (mountainous, premountainous and lowland areas) and of characteristics of mineral metabolism of children with chronic gastroduodenitis. It is defined by the conducted research that the concentration of essential microelements in biological liquids of the studied children contingent differs depending on the district of residence within the limits of one region. Data is gathered about the imbalance of essential microelements during chronic gastroduodenitis, more precisely - about the decrease of the level of zinc, iron, copper, and iodine, which is accompanied by disorders of cytokine and hormonal status. The expressiveness of these aberrations depended on the phase of pathological process, variants of course, combined and concomitant pathologies. The efficiency of vitamin-mineral complex Aktival Max in the complex treatment of childrenwith chronic gastroduodenitis is proved. This medication is recommended to be included in the complex treatment of patients with chronic gastroduodenitis in the phase of incomplete remission. A computer program is developed.
