Essay

Object – corrosion steels in excited environments at the action of inhibitor compositions on the basis of oil-fat production waste; such methods as corrosive, adsorptive and spectral investigation, analytic chemistry, metallographic, hydrodynamic and computer-aided calculations; a simple and ecologically safe method of producing the above inhibitor has an innovative character; novelty – the inhibitor developed provides a high anticorrosion protection of steels in neutral and acid media at indoor and elevated temperatures, meets modern ecology requirements; for the first time, characteristic properties of corrosion processes taking place on the cylindrical parts surface with a liquid flowing along have been studied, the level of surface roughness and hydrodynamic factors influence on the corrosion rate of steel has been determined; surface microtopography having been taken into account, the mechanism of the above inhibitor anticorrosion effect has been studied and the model of forming protective layerson the steel has been proposed; results of scientific research – on the basis of oil-fat production wastes, a new corrosion inhibitor ФЕС (patent 82921 of Ukraine) has been developed; branches – chemical industry, engineering, public services and etc.
