TYMOShENKO Y. Ultrasonic diagnostics and clinical biochemical criterions of the development of the peritonsillar abscess".

The dissertation is devoted to the problem of the diagnostic of peritonsillar abscess (PTA) development stages before and after his dissection on the basis of the use of complex of ultrasonic and biochemical criterions. Under the supervision 163 men were found (92 men and 71 wоmеn). The age - 19-66 years old. 15 healthy persons made a control group. All patients were inspected with the use of peritonsillar region ultrasonic descriptions and blood serum biochemical indexes (general albumin, proteinogramm, the Veltman-test, cialic acids, glycoproteins, gaptoglobin, chondroitinsulphates, peptides of middle mass, the activity of AlAT and AsAT). A new not - invasive method of diagnostic of stages of the PTA-development on the basis of ultrasonic visualization of peritonsillar space and biochemical criterions of the metabolic status of patients in the process of the PTA- forming and during 1, 5-7, 14-24 and 30-45 days after dissection of the abscess were developed. Intercommunications were proved between ultrasonic and biochemical indexes in the dependence of the stages of the PTA forming, and between the level of biochemical tests and the type of exposed infection also. The set experience of the application of hepatoprotectors for renewal of functions of the liver in row of patients with PTA after dissection of the abscess was performed. The declarative patent of Ukraine on "Method of early diagnostic of the abscess of the peritonsillar tissue" was got.
