Dobzhanska N. The Сontextual Мeans of Modeling Limitativeness in English.

The dissertation presents the study of limitativeness as a verbal category in the sphere of aspectual relations. The research is focused on the influence of the verbal context on the action's limitative characteristic.Тhe aspectual peculiarities in the microfields of the verb's aspectual gravitation are analysed. The results of the interaction of the 20 analyzed microfields are studied as to their relation to the limitative character of the action. The seme parameters of the microfields are formalized by means of various algebraic signs, symbols of logic and certain other specific signs and formulae. The temporal and local parameters of similar markers are compared, as well as actions formed by homonymous markers.
