Gubanova O. Criminological Description and Prophylaxis of Raping (on Materials of Autonomous Republic Crimea)

Dissertation is devoted to the criminological description and prophylaxis of raping. Criminological description of raping is analyzed, including the basic quantitative-qualitative rates of the noted crimes, external circumstances, place, time and geography of their committal. The distinctions of the noted rates in relation to Autonomous Republic Crimea are determined taking into account resort status of the region. It is substantiated, that latentness of raping reaches level of nearly 80 per cent. Principal reasons of latentness of analysed crime are determined. Criminological description of the personality of a rapist and the personality of a victim is given. The author's conception of raping motivation is offered. As a result of complex analysis, determination of raping is considered, which shows the aggregate of interactive and inter-stipulating criminogenic factors of biological, psychological and social order. The determinants of every indicated kind are established and analysed. Main directions are set and practical recommendations are developed in relation to the prophylaxis of raping on general social, special criminological and individual levels, including both their orientation on counteraction of anlawful act of a criminal and victimological aspect, and taking into account resort status of the probed region - the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
