Iyad J. Subcardial gastric resection for cancer

Оbject: Extent of subcardial resection definition and operated with extent of subcardial resection patient’s with stomach tumors status analysis.Purpose: To design and to adopt the new method of stomach resection for improve direct and functional results after plastic resections of mobilized stomach with tumor. Study methods: clinical, laboratory, endoscopic, x-ray, ultrasonic, morphological, statistical. Novelty: It was first designed and introduced into the clinical practice the method of subcardial stomach resection with antireflux gastrointestinal anastomosis in case of distal third and body of stomach cancer, that shows good direct, follow-up and functional results. Results: It was designed and provided to practice the method of subcardial stomach resection and digestive tract reconstruction after surgical invasion, that makes possible to increase direct and functional results of surgical treatment of patients with stomach cancer, to secure the satisfactory quality of life of this patient’s category.Provided method of surgical treatment of lower and middle third stomach cancer is technically safe method and also provides good follow-up and functional results. The adoption of trail’s results into practice was made in Donetsk Regional Antineoplastic Center, Mariupol Municipalinterregional Oncological Clinic, Gorlovka Municipal Oncological Clinic, Donetsk Municipal Hospital №16.
