Essay

Subject of study – autoimmune thyroiditis, diffuse toxic and nontoxic goiter, iodine deficiency state of pregnant women. It was holded clinical observation of 275 pregnant women with thyroid gland’s pathology taking into account the period of pregnancy the rate of violations and it was determined individual method to their treatment. It was holded ultrasonic examination with "ALOKA" apparatus. The level of antibodies to thyroid peroxydase, thyroglobulin, thyrotropic hormons was determined with immunofermental method, excretion of iodine with urine was determined with express-method by help set "urine-iodine test" and the content of iodine in the hair was determined by elission's spectral analysis. It was determined the features of violation of the thyroid glands function in pregnant women with autoimmune and nonautoimmune thyroiditis. It was proved big activation of autoimmune process if hypothyrosis is present and it was proved the decrease of its display with diffuse toxic goiter and course of postnatal thyroiditis that is in fact of increasing of immune system's activity after its long physiologic pressing during the pregnancy. It was also determined that in iodine deficiency the level of thyrotropic hormon increases and it proves to the progressing of subclinical hypothyrosis. All the results of clinical research were included to endocrinologists' practic, obstetrists-gynecologists, doctors of family medecine institutions in the cities like Kharkov, Zaporogie, Sumy, Poltava and Sevastopol.
