Polischuk V. Lipid metabolism in organism of ostriches in age aspect and under influence of biologically active preparations

Object of research - a condition of lipid metabolism in organism of ostriches in age aspect and at action biologically active preparations. Research lipid metabolism in organism of ostriches in age aspect and at action of biologically active preparations was the purpose of dissertational work. Methods of researches - thinly laminated chromatography (is the receipt of separate classes of lipid), two-dimensional chromatography (is the receipt of separate classes of phospholipids), spectrophotometry (determination of maintenance of products of lipid peroxidation and activity of enzymes of antioxidant defence), microscopic research of morphological structure of blood (erythrocytes, leukocytes) and statistical methods of research. Novelty - for the first time it is carried out dynamics researches of lipid composition features, the antioxidant enzymes activity, of lipid peroxidation products content in the blood serum of ostriches in age aspect and under influence of biologically active preparations of thymus and medulla. It is established, that concentration of the lipids in blood serum of ostriches decreases during the period from 6 to 18-month's age. Thus contents of phospholipids, nonetherified fatty acids growth, and decreasing of cholesterol content and its ethers. In puberty and intensive oviposition there is an increasing of lipid peroxidation strength and decreasing of the antioxidant enzymes defence activity. For the first time influence of biologically active preparations of an animal origin on lipids, activity antioxidants enzymes, the maintenance of products lipid peroxidation and morphological indicators in blood of ostriches is found out. Investigated biologically active preparations assists decreasing of lipid peroxidation products content and increasing of the antioxidant enzymes defence activity in serum blood of ostriches. Results of researches - researches of features of lipid composition, functioning of the system of antioxidant defence, maintenance of products of lipid peroxidation in the blood serum of ostriches of different age and at action of biologically active preparations. Industry is poultry farming.
