Ablyazov D. Principle of supremacy of the constitution.

The dissertation is devoted to research of specificity of maintenance of the supremacy of constitution principle and its influence on political and legal development of Ukraine, in a context of an embodiment in domestic practice of state construction the ideals of democracy and state of law. The author defines the legal and scientific contents of the supremacy of constitution principle, outlines the basic conceptual and methodological approaches, which are used in a modern science of the constitutional law with the purpose of its analysis, proves necessity of allocation of the supremacy of the constitution principle as an independent concept, alongside with such terms as "supremacy of the law", "legality", "constitutionalism". The special attention is given to a functional substantiation of the supremacy of constitution principle, to analysis of its connection with the basic principles of the democratic state and the state of law, and also to the research of specificity of interrelation of process of maintenance of the supremacy of constitution principle as Basic Law of the state and dynamics of the constitutional changes. The dissertation gives the characteristic of legal ways and mechanisms that allow to guarantee realization of the supremacy of constitution principle, it investigates the correlations between processes of maintenance of the supremacy of constitution principle and development of legislation system in Ukraine. The author offers concrete steps of legislative character, which are called to promote maintenance and realization of the supremacy of the constitution principle in Ukraine.
