Wael M. The differential diagnostics criteria and optimization of treatment of chronic diarrhea in infants.

The dissertation is covers a problem of increasing the effectiveness of treatment in young children with chronic diarrhea by using the clinical and laboratorial differential diagnostic criteria and the appointment of different methods of treatment in therapy. It is shown that one of the pathophysiological mechanisms for the development of the clinical picture of allergic enteropathy, along with the IgE-dependent mechanisms is the formation of lactase deficiency and infringement biocenosis intestine. We calculate operating characteristics (diagnostic sensitivity, diagnostic specifity) of lactose tolerance test and Wielk’s test, which indicate the high value of diagnostic tests for the detection of lactase deficiency. The criteria of differential diagnostics of lactase insufficiency and allergic enteropathy at the children of early age on the level of informing of the studied clinical-laboratory indexes аre certain.
