Essay

The thesis is devoted to the physicochemical and morphological study of hard tissues and pulp of lower bicuspids prepared (with and without a ledge) for metalloceramic denture constructions fixed with the help of hybrid glass-ionomer cement. It is found that at the vibration which affects the tooth during odontopreparation the most significant disorders of blood circulation occur at the neck area of tooth prepared with a ledge. It happens due to the vibratory angiotrophoneurosis. Local blood circulation disorder at the tooth pulp causes dystrophic changes of odontoblasts' bodies and outgrowths which influence dentine biomineralization and microhardness. This fact makes demands to use cements with the improved physicomechanical characteristics for the fixation of nonremovable orthopaedic constructions. The results of investigation are confirmed by the data of rheoparodentographic researches, the higher reaction of parodentium vessels to ledge teeth preparation is also proved. Temperature data and electrical odontodiagnostics give the same results with the increase of indices in 30 days and a year.
