Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the improvement of diagnostic and treatment of patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Mathematical model was developed for prediction severity of disease. The study of heart rate variability has shown autonomic regulation disturbances have most of the patient with GERD. The factors of unstimulated saliva that support morphological stability of esophageal mucosa against the aggressive gastroesophageal reflux was found. The increased concentration of inorganic ammonium buffers in unstimulated saliva in patients with could serve as a diagnostic and prognostic criterion in clinic. Also we conclude that joint use proton pump inhibitors and H2 receptor antagonists better in acute management of GERD.
