The research object is machine-building enterprises innovation activity. The aim of research consisted in development of theoretical and methodical grounds of improvement machine-building enterprises innovation activity stimulation. The methods of research are: comparative analysis, grouping, concretization, statistical analysis, econometric methods, scenario analysis. The methodical approaches to involvement and stimulation of external participants of machine-building enterprise innovation activity mechanism formation, based on scenario analysis, choice of profit distribution strategy and curved lines application were worked out. The model of stimulation of employees and innovative structural subdivisions, the method of evaluation of participants' contribution into financial result of machine-building enterprises innovation activity were perfected. The essence of category "machine-building enterprises innovation activity stimulation", the classifications of innovation activity forms and its tax incentives, the methodical recommendation on organization of innovation process at machine-building enterprises were given further developments. Author's suggestions are implemented in activity of machine-building enterprises and in educational process. Sphere of use is the machine-building enterprises innovation activity management.
