Magitova A. Ukrainian history is in illumination of magazine of "Vestnik Evropy"

In dissertation research complex investigational process of development of Ukrainian historiography of end of 60th ХІХ - to beginning of ХХ item, presented in the publications of magazine of "Vestnik Evropy". Essence and specific is found out Ukrainian-Russian intellectual contacts of the noted period. The collaboration of the Ukrainian scientists and publicists with a magazine lasted during all time of his existence (1866-1918) and had the most various forms: participating in his foundation, editing of reasons and materials, publication, scientifically historical and other studios, selection of authors for a magazine and others like that. In a disciplinary relation they belong to the studios from Ukrainian, Russian and Polish history, ethnography, fol'kloristiki, literary criticism, linguistics, shevchenkovedeniya and other disciplin. Scientific, publicism and polemic works of the Ukrainian scientists and correspondents, printed in a magazine "Vestnik Evropy", were instrumental in the acquaintanceof the wide Russian reader audience with history of Ukraine, and also to distribution of cultural and educational and scientific requirements of ukrainofil'stva. During work found out and systematized basic publications, devoted Ukrainian problematic, for all period of functioning of magazine (1866-1918), they are conducted bibliographic systematization; the rotined role of the known Ukrainian figures (such as M.Grushevskiy, M.Kostomarov, M.Dragomanov, O.Efimenko) is in actualization of the Ukrainian question and propaganda of Ukrainian history; It is found out forms and volume of collaboration of the Ukrainian researchers are found out from "Vestnik Evropy", including their role in becoming of magazine; the scientific discussions of the Ukrainian scientists and publicists are analysed on the pages of magazine; the evolution of social-public position of magazine is traced in relation to the Ukrainian question; the Russian reception of Ukraine is presented by the row of prominent representatives it (Russian) academic intelligentsia, the dynamics of distribution of magazine is rotined on the walks of life of Ukraine.
