Svetlychnaya T. Eficacy of treatment and quality of life of patients with AIDS-associated tuberculosis with severe immunodepression

Object of research - newly detected AIDS-associated pulmonary tuberculosis; the purpose - improvement of efficacy of diagnosis, treatment and quality of life of patients with AIDS-associated tuberculosis with severe immunodepression. It was studied peculiarities of natural history, disease detection and structure concerning of tuberculosis process and sputum results, efficacy of treatment in 464 patients with AIDS-associated tuberculosis depending from level of immunodepression. It was advanced of antituberculosis and adjuvant treatment with replacement of rifampicin on rifacina and pirazinamid on gatifloxacin in standard 5-component regimen of chemotherapy for 1 category in patients with high risk of sever liver side effect with chronic viral hepatitis B and/or C with increased level of liver ferments, prescription of adjuvant complex drug on the basis of phosphodilholin. It was allows to increase efficacy of tuberculosis treatment on 16,7-26,6 % and decrease level of side effects on 33,3 %,significantly increased of quality of life; sphare of application - phthysiology.
