In the thesis is opened the theory and the principles of the regulation of innovation activity as the factor of the accelerated development of the economy of the Ukraine. The thesis project proved the ways for improving the organizational-economic mechanism of regulation the innovative activity in the mechanical engineering of Ukraine. So the directions and priorities of the innovative activity are determined, the ways for improving the stimulation and financial support of innovative activity in the mechanical engineering, and also tax regulation was considered as the factor of strengthening the innovative development.
