Thesis is dedicated to theoretical and practical questions of the lawful regulation of working time and rest time of the scientific-pedagogical workers of higher educational institutions with the 3rd and 4th levels of accreditation. In the work the author opens the basic features of scientific-pedagogical work as the varieties of intellectual activity, substantiates the criteria of the lawful regulation of the work of scientific-pedagogical workers. The author carried out the analysis of the special features of the formation of rate setting of working time and training load, which are determined with the aid of two measurements: with the weekly extent of working time and by the concretized standards. The ways of the optimization of the duration of working time in the leading workers of higher educational institutions are investigated. The author opened the special features of the lawful regulation of pluralism in the higher educational institutions. She made conclusion on the need of the development ofStatute on the special feature of work on the pluralism in higher educational institutions with the 3rd and 4th levels of accreditation. Theoretical material on rest time of scientific-pedagogical workers is generalized and systematized.
