Sazhyna O. Hyperbaric Oxygenation in the complex treatment of the dystrophy-inflammatory diseases of the periodontium

Object - periodontium tissues of the patients with general periodontitis I, I-II, II degree. Goal is the increasing of the treatment efficacy of the dystrophy-inflammatory periodontium diseases using the hyperbaric oxygenation method in the complex therapy. Methods - clinical, laboratory (microbiologic), functional (reoperiodontiumgramm), statistical. Novelty - advisability of the hyperbaric oxygenation method using was founded as a complementary pathogenic remedy in the complex therapy of the general periodontitis; a device for the local hyperbaric oxygenation of the oral cavity was processed and improved for the treatment of the dystrophy-inflammatory periodontium diseases; procedure of it was processed; using of this treatment method promotes to elimination of the inflammation and prolonged clinical stabilization of the pathological process in the periodontal tissues, produced stable remission of the diseases. Results - intraoral construction for the local hyperbaric oxygenation therapy was approvedand introduced in the clinical practice for the patients with general periodontitis with goal of the dystrophy-inflammatory processes removal in the periodontal tissues. It was introduced in the dental clinics of the Donetsk national medical university names M. Gorky, municipal polyclinic of the Donetsk, Mariupol, Lugansk. Field - medicine (dentistry).
