Essay

The dissertation deals with the assessment of economic and energetic efficiency of milk production with different systems of keeping cows (in stalls, in stalls and on pastures, combined system) during summer under natural climatic conditions of Ukrainian Polissia area. A profound analysis has been carried out of economic and energetic efficiency of using production resources in agricultural dairy enterprises of Chernigiv region as Polissia central area. Calculation of production costs has been made taking into account production recources with varions systems of keeping cows, including feeding modifications. The final economic and energetic effect per forage area unit has been assessed. It has been determined that the stall system is the most efficient system of keeping cows with the maximum profit and energetic milk value per 100 ha of feeding area, the green mass of grain legume mixtures of perennual grasses being maximally used during summer pasture period while beiny mowed, transported and fed frommangers. The pasture system of keeping cows during summer has a sufficient disadvantage which is the loss of nourishing green forage of about 27-31 % due to trampling. This disadvantage brings to naught the whole effect of its introduction. A package of measures to increase the efficiency of dairy cattle - breeding and substantiated due to saving basic production resources.
