Degtyar'ov S. Materials of Povit Courts of Left-Bank Ukraine as a Historic Sourse (the End of the XVIII - 60ies of the XIX century)

For the first time in Ukrainian Historiography there has been made an attempt of special complex investigation of informational potential of materials of povit (povit zemstvo) courts that functioned on the territory of Left-Bank Ukraine since the XVIII till 60ies of the XIX century. There has been determined the level of preservation of the given source in the range of archive storages of Ukraine and Russian Federation. There have been determined the directions of historic investigations where it is appropriate to use the given source. The Source Study analysis of the documents of povit courts has been performed. There have been specified, classified and brought into system the blocks of documents that content the information of socially economic, historically local lore, genealogic and biographic character.
