Tkach L. Ukrainian decadence artistic modi (comparative aspect).

The objects are the products of Ukrainian and European before- and the very decadence. The aim is detection of the basic art modes and their pithy charging in creativity of the Ukrainian writers at a stage of a decadence attitude becoming, in typological relating with property of the Western-European artists. The methods are comparative analysis: contact, typological, genetical; poethological analysis; culturological poethology. The thesis is devoted to the study of literature specific character of ukrainian decadence in the aspect of high artistic modi; variation filling of such artistic modi as "decadence", "centuries' boundary", "fin de siecle" in tipological correlation of european and ukrainian literary experience is examined. The connection between artistic modi and modi of other literary epochs is elucidated. It is confirmed that ukrainian decadence did not realize itself as integral and completed project but it is proved on artistic modi level in the works of many representatives of ukrainian literature for whom decadence became mostly the cognizance of the time, objective spirit of the culture on transition to another artistic possibilities, necessary mediator of entry to european cultural context.
