Subject of research: processes of management of financial result constituents of domestic industrial enterprises; objective of research: generalization and further development of theoretical statements and methodical support aimed at improvement of analysis of the financial result of enterprises of the machine-building sector; research methods and tools: logical generalization method, graphical analytic method, statistical analysis methods (descriptive statistics tool), system and integrated approaches, formalization methods (description of processes and occurrences under investigation using mathematical symbolism and graphic representation); theoretical and practical results: improved: financial result analysis model using analytical geometry methods for analysis of such financial result formation constituents as income and expenditure, financial result analysis procedure (positive or negative values) in the phase space «production cost growth rate – production cost in product sales proceeds», methodical approach to estimation of the financial result values using the graphical analytic method for determining the financial result basing on consideration of an aggregate of its constituents as bounding lines, the definition of term «financial result» has been further developed, determination of the substance of the financial result management process; practical importance of the results obtained is the proposed financial result analysis model and procedure and approach to estimation thereof, as well as well-founded theoretical statements aimed at improvement of analysis of the financial result of enterprises of the machine-building sector; subject and extent of introduction: the development results have been introduced in practice at State Enterprise Kharkov Machine-building Plant FED, Production Association A.M.Makarov Yuzhny Machine-building Plant, State Enterprise KhEMZ; scope of use: operation of machine-building enterprises, educational process.
