The object is S.Heaney's poetry. The aim is to lighten, in historical and literary aspect, the peculiarities of poetic-artistic world perception in Seamus Heaney's poetry of the 60s - 70s of the XX century. The methods are historical and literary as well as historical and comparative analysis, literary criticism and linguostylistic analysis. The dissertation focuses on the ethic beauty and aesthetic depth of the selected poetry by the Nobel Prize Laureate Seamus Heaney. The subject (poetry of the 60s-70s of the XX cent.) is deeply viewed and thoroughly analysed in a literary-historical aspect. The place of Heaney's poetry as a bright phenomenon in the British literature and in the world literature as a wider context, the main features of its poetics, the system of images from the view point of its development, the peculiarities of the author's poetic style have been researched in the dissertation. S.Heaneys's poetry, within its autobiographical circuit, is also an oeuvre of strong social engagement, looking with stunning force at what it means to be a contemporary poet and a citizen of Northern Ireland. S.Heaney has brought together different influences which help creating his own unmistakable style. Application sphere is the training courses.
